Description
Clinical history : A male patient 57 years old presented with multiple nodular lesions in the skin and tongue.
His condition weakened progressively and he died after left ventricular failure developed
Autopsy findings : 1. Primary amyloidosis with amyloid deposits in heart, tongue, blood vessels, alveolar septae, spleen, adrenal glands and skin.
2. Amyloid cylinders in renal tubules.
3. Polymyositis.
Diagnosis: Primary amyloidosis
