| dc.description.abstract | This paper presents results and findings of the traffic congestion study conducted in Vhembe District. The purpose of the traffic congestion study was to assess and profile the existing traffic congestion landscape in the District with a view to identifying high, medium and low congestion areas in the Municipality. The results provide a portrait of congestion complete with a description of required infrastructure and services, which implemented will contribute significantly to a reduction in congestion. The findings highlight the major traffic congestion areas including presenting a platform of measures and actions that the Municipality can adopt in tackling congestion issues differently in the study area. | en_ZA |
