dc.description.abstractThe geographic, genetic, dietary and cultural background is described of the three important racial groups of the Cape Peninsula in the south-west tip of Africa. Such characterization is the starting point for interracial studies designed to define the striking differences between Europeans (Whites), Cape Coloureds and Bantu in morbidity and mortality.en_US
