| dc.description.abstract | This study, conducted in South Africa, measures the cost of flight delays to corporations. Following a simple quantitative methodology the direct cost of flight delays to travellers from one corporation, based on man-hours lost, was determined. Significant relationships were found between substantial delays and month, day and time period flown. Viewed against the limitations of the study the value of time lost was found not to constitute a substantial amount to the corporation. | en_US |
