Abstract
Description
Clinical history : A 1 year old male with heart failure and often suffered from nosocomial tachycardia as well as pneumonia and bronchitis and later presnted with a nosocomial tachycardiaand was diagnosed with ventricular septal defect.
Autopsy findings : 1. 2 abnormal veins of the right lung which drained into the superior vena cava.
2. Open ductus arteriosus and foramen ovale.
3. Ventricular septal defect.
4. Right ventricular hypertrophy.
Diagnosis: 1. Abnormal venous drainage of the right lung in the superior vena cava.
2. Open ductus arteriosus and foramen ovale.
3. Ventricular septal defect.
4. Right ventricular hypertrophy
