Description
Clinical history : A male child, I I-years old, with signs of midbrain tumour in the region of the third ventricle.
Initial response to radiotherapy was obtained and a short performed for secondary hydrocephalus.
Thereafter the patient's condition deteriorated and he died.
Autopsy findings : Glioma of the midbrain with infiltration in floor of third ventricle and secondary hydrocephalus.
Diagnosis: Astrocytoma grade III
