Description
Clinical history : A 13 year old female with 2 year history of bleeding tendancies and investigation showed the patient had hepatomegaly and jaundiceand a diagnosis of chronic active hepatitis was made two years later.
Autopsy findings : 1. Chronic active hepatitis with macronodular cirrhosis.
2. HB5Ag postive.
3. Membranous nephrophathy with HB5Ag precipitation.
4. Acute hemorrhagic bronchopnuemonia.
5. Cerebral infarction in the basal core and cerebellum.
Diagnosis: Macronodular cirrhosis to active hepatitis (Hepatitis B)
