Clinical history : An 11 year old male with.
The patient's other two sibling are healthy except they have an innate poor vison just like the patient.
The boy had moderate hypochromic anaemia.
a kidney biopsy had shown pyelonephritis.
Autopsy findings : 1. Anaemia.
2. Bronchopneumonia.
3. Medullary type of chronic polycystic kidney with chronic pyelonephritis.
4. Hyperplasia of the parathyroid glands.
Diagnosis: Medullary type of congenital parasitic kidney
