dc.description.abstract | In patients with pheochromocytomas it is well known that different factors can precipitate an acute pheochromocytoma crisis. Our patient presented with a vesicular skin rash and respiratory distress suggestive of disseminated varicella zoster for which he was treated with steroids and acyclovir. Two days later hypertension was noted for the first time. | en_US |
