The mini-dissertation appraises the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) in securing sexual and reproductive rights in Kenya. It seeks to establish the measures that have been put in place by Kenya to implement the ?accepted? recommendations, the extent to which the recommendations have been implemented and the challenges that have made Kenya not to implement some of the ?accepted? recommendations. Kenya has put in place measures to implement the recommendations, some of which have been partially achieved; it has also faced challenges in implementation of the recommendations. The UPR has played a modest yet significant role in securing sexual, reproductive rights in Kenya.en_ZA
