Description
Clinical history : A 43-year-old white man with opacity of the upper lobe of the right lung.
Acanthosis nigricans and severe hypertrophic pulmonary osteoarthropathy were also noted.
Autopsy findings : 1. Bronchial carcinoma in right upper lobe with obstructive lung syndrome and bronchiectasis.
2. Centrilobar emphysema.
3. Chronic bronchitis.
4. Hypertrophic pulmonary osteoarthropathy.
5. Acanthosis nigricans.
Diagnosis: 1. Bronchial carcinoma in upper lobe with obstructive lung syndrome.
2. Hypertrophic pulmonary osteoarthropathy
