dc.descriptionClinical history : A 3 year old child who was admitted with a foreign a foreign object in the bronchus.
dc.descriptionRadiographs show that 2/3 of the lungs had collapsed and had produced stridor sounds but showed no signs of shortness of breath.
dc.descriptionThe liver and spleen was palpable and a radiograph of the thorax showed a particularly big mediastinal mass and the differentiating diagnosis of lymphosarcoma and Hodgkin's disease or tuberculosis.
dc.descriptionAutopsy findings : 1. Large tumor in the anterior mediastinum in the area of the thymus gland.
dc.description2. Metastatic nodules had formed in the liver and both kidneys.
dc.descriptionDiagnosis: Thymus gland lymphoblast lymphoma.
