Description
Clinical history : A female patient 20 years old with diarrhoea and vomiting for three months; later convulsions developed.
Blindness followed due to bilateral optic atrophy.
The patient died suddenly and resuscitation attempts were unsuccessful.
Autopsy findings : Infiltrating pituitary adenoma involving the sella turcica, sinus cavernous and the orbit on both sides as well as the brain stem.
Diagnosis: Infiltrating pituitary adenoma
