Abstract
Description
Clinical history : A female baby died within I hour of birth without having respiratory movements and no response to intranasal oxygen administration.
Clinical diagnosis of dextrocardia was made.
Autopsy findings : 1. Congenital left-sided diaphragm defect with herniation of intestine, left lobe of liver, tail of pancreas and spleen into the left side of the thoracic cavity.
2. Hypoplasia of left lung.
Diagnosis: Hypoplasia of left lung due to diaphragmatic hernia
