Description
Clinical history : A 19 year old with a sore throat fot 14 days with a painful swelling right knee.
The patient developed wide spread ecchymoses on the skin and signs of septisema.
Autopsy findings : 1. Acute streptococcal arthritis of the right knee.
2. streptococcal pneumonia.
3. Acute tubular necrosis.
Diagnosis: Acute tubular necrosis following streptococcus septicaemia
