Description
Clinical history : A female patient, 42-years of age complained of large abdominal tumour.
A large aorta aneurysm with spindle shape was shown on arteriogram and situated just below the renal vessels.
The aneurysm was surgically removed and a prosthesis was applied.
No signs of atherosclerosis were seen and serology for syphilis tested negative.
Diagnosis: Idiopathic aortitis with aneurysm formation
