Description
Clinical history : A 2 year old female with constipation and was diagnosed with megacolon with a barium enema.
A biopsy of the rectal muscle layer had the absence of ganglion and hyperplasiaof the neurovascular bundle was seen.
A colonostomy was done of the removed colon and it presented with an aganglionic segment.
Diagnosis: Hirschsprung disease
