Description
Clinical history : A 7 year old male who was born with a respiratory infection and the heart was enlarged with severe pulmonary systolic murmur and a diagnosis of pulmonary stenosis was made.
The right lung showed sings of bronchietasis ana pulmonary commissurotomy was done.
Autopsy findings : 1. Pulmonary operation with the pulmonary valve which was hard and fibrotic and showed signs pulmonary commissurotomy.
2. Right ventricular hypertrophy.
3. bronchietasis of the inferior lobe of the right lung.
Diagnosis: 1. Pulmonary stenosis for which a commissurotomy was done.
2. Right ventricular hypertrophy
