dc.description.abstract | Slow canopy wilting in response to decreased soil moisture is a complex conservation trait in soybean that is likely to involve multiple mechanisms. This trait is potentially extremely important in the development of more drought-tolerant crops, but it remains poorly characterized. Using QTL mapping, Ye et al. (2019) have shown that slow-wilting in soybean is associated with drought tolerance and involves at least two distinct waterconservation mechanisms. | en_ZA |
