Abstract

The first case of COVID-19 was reported in December 2019, and shortly thereafter, the World Health Organization declared it a worldwide pandemic by March 2020.1 The effects of the pandemic on healthcare systems and its subsequent quarantine provisions posed significant challenges to teaching institutions and clinical training worldwide.
