AFRIKAANS SUMMARY: Die eerste Nederduits Gereformeerde Kerk in Durban is op 2 Februarie 1924 ingewy. Tydens die aanddiens is ds Paul Nel as leraar van die gemeente bevestig.
ENGLISH SUMMARY: The inauguration of the first Dutch Reformed Church in Durban took place on the 2nd of February 1924. During the evening sermon, the reverend Paul Nel was ordained as minister of the congregation.
