Abstract
Description
Clinical history : A male patient, 41-years old, .a had open heart surgery for repair of aorta valve stenosis.
After surgery oliguric renal failure developed with no apparent cause.
Treatment with dialysis was givenfive times, with no result and the artificjal kidney treatment was terminated.
Autopsy findings : 1. Chronic calcified endocarditis of the aortic valve with stenosis.
2. Post-operative hemopericardium.
3. Acute renal tubular necrosis.
4. Uremic pneumonitis.
5. Chronic interstitial pancreatitis.
Diagnosis: Chronic calcifying endocarditis of aortic valve with stenosis.
Left ventricular hypertrophy.
