Abstract

Jacobus Christiaan (Jaap) Vos (1920-1974) was a POW from Den Haag in the Netherlands. He was kept in Marinfelde in Berlin, it was the Foreign camp of the concentration camp Sachsenhausen. He worked in the Fritz Werner Machine Company in Berlin.

Description

A series of letters from 7 May 1943 when he was taken away to 22 May 1944. The letters are typed copies of the originals sended to Ms Van Gybland Oosterhoff during the war - these copies are mentioned several times in the correspondence. Also in the collection is two hand written letters to Ms Van Gybland Oosterhoff as well as a letter from Dirk Vos a cousin of Jaap.
