Clinical history : A 13 year old female with signs of myasthenia gravis and the patient reported severe respiratory failure and pronounced muscle weakness.
Autopsy findings : 1. Hyperplasia of the thymus gland.
2. Acute bronchiolitisand severe confluent bronchpneumonia.
