Description
Clinical history : A 30 year old male with complaint of pain in the breast and became pale and developed a weak irregular pulse and mild edema of the legs.
The patient then had a convulsive attack and later died with signs of ventricular fibrilation on the ECG.
Autopsy findings : Syphilus aortitis with vegatation in the aortic valve which closed the lumen of the right coronary artery.
Diagnosis: Syphilitic aortitis with closure of the right coronary artery following an aortic vegetation
