Clinical history : A 67 year old female with a coronary thrombosis and later developed kidney failure.
Autopsy findings : 1. Myocardial fibrosis due to coronary artery atherosclerosis.
2. Bilateral renal papillary necrosis due to phenacetin.
Diagnosis: Renal papillary necrosis as a result of phenacetin use
