Description
Clinical history : A 38 year old white male developed sudden hemiparesis and progressive loss of consciousness.
Blood pressure was normal and the patient became deep comatose with contracted pupils.
The cerebrospinal fluid was under 300mm H20 pressure and contained blood.
Autopsy findings : 1. intracerebral haemorrhage lateral to corpus striatum on left side.
2. Congenital aneurysm of the circle of Willis at the trituration of the artery cerebri media bilaterally.
3. Left ventricular hypertrophy of heart.
Diagnosis: Bilateral congenital aneurysm of artery cerebri media
