Description
Clinical history : A 22 year old female with an incomplete abortion.
A D+K was done which caused a fever and abdominal pain and a diagnosis of acute peritonitis was made with treatment of antibiotics.
Autopsy findings : 1. Acute deciduitis.
2. Bilateral cortical necrosis of the kidneys.
Diagnosis: Cortical necrosis
