Description

Clinical history : A 35 year old male with a 2 year history of intermittent cranial nerve fall out with left hemiparesis.
Calcification of the area of the midbrain and posterior limb of the right internal capsule and a diagnosis of oligodendroglion was made.
Autopsy findings : 1. Oligodendroglion with glioblastoma multiform of the right internal capsule.
2. Infiltration of the midbrain, subarchnoid spaces and cranial nerves by the glioblastoma multiform.
Diagnosis: Oligodendroglioma with change in glioblastoma multiform
