dc.descriptionClinical history : A 1 year old male with cleft palate and lip and suffered with heart failure shortly after birth and was treated.
dc.descriptionPrior to death, the patient developed a cough and fever with heart failure and was given a clinical diagnosis of ventricular septal defect was made.
dc.descriptionAutopsy findings : 1. Corrected tranpsotion of the great vessels.
dc.description2. The aorta arose from the right ventricle on the left side of the heart and the pulmonary artery from the left ventricle on the right side.
dc.description3. The position of the atria was normal.
