Description
Clinical history : A newborn female baby diagnosed with congenital heart disease died two days after birth.
Autopsy findings : 1. Vascular ring consisting of: a. right-sided aortic arch with retro-oesophageal segment.
b. left descending aorta.
c. open ductus arteriosus communicating with aorta to the left of the oesophagus.
2. Ventricular septa/ defect.
3. Congenital pyloric stenosis.
Diagnosis: Vascular ring.
Ventricular septum defect.
