dc.descriptionSir Owen Cosby Phillips, 1st Baron Kylsant (1863-1937), was the owner of Union Castle Lines, the prominent shipping company that operated passenger liners between Southampton and Cape Town. Lord Kylsant was on the ship, the Balmoral Castle (1910), along with Eloff and was sculpted during their voyage. The current whereabouts of this work is unknown and it was last exhibited at a 1912 Individualists Exhibition.en_ZA
