Description

Clinical history : A 59 year old bilateral proptosis.
The patient later presented with an enlarged gland in the left side of the neck and an enlarged liver as a result of outgrowths.
A diagnosis of malignant exophthalmos with carcinoma outgrowths.
Autopsy findings : 1. Anaplastic carcinoma of the gallbladder with outgrowths in the liver, kidneys, adrenal glands, lymph nodes and brain.
2. Malignant exophthalmos.
3. Bronchopneumonia of the inferior lobe of the left lung.
Diagnosis: Metastatic gallbladder carcinoma with a large outgrowth in the area of the core of the right sixth cranial nerve
