Description
Clinical history : A 16-year old girl with family history of osteopetrosis developed progressive deafness and urgent posterior cranial fossa decompression was done.
She regained consciousness, but died later the same day.
Autopsy findings : 1. Osteopetrosis.
2. Raised intracranial pressure and cerebellar cone formation.
Diagnosis: Osteopetrosis (marble bone disease)
