dc.descriptionAn ordinary object such as this tall water pitcher never appealed to Coetzee and is probably why he painted the pink enamel pitcher with a floral bouquet. The blue cornflowers in particular were inspired by one of the tea sets which Coetzee used at home.en_ZA
