Monte Carlo simulation is used to simulate scenarios that are defined not by definitive figures, but rather distributions of values. Using sampling techniques and Monte Carlo methods the current state of waste for two autoclaves at Little Company of Mary Hospital was simulated and assessed. This allowed the waste to be quantified in financial terms which will help in the decision making process on how to further address the subject matter.en_US
