This study was necessitated by the gap that exists in literature regarding the impact of moderators on the relationship between transformational leadership and organisational innovation. The study formulated hypotheses that would assist in providing insights into the impact that organisational culture has as moderator to transformational leadership and organisational innovation. A quantitative research approach was adopted for the study and The Package for the Social Sciences Package (SPSS) was selected as the statistical software where tests would be conducted. Correlation, regression, descriptive and moderated regression tests were performed on the data set. The outcomes of this research study found that a positive and significant relationship exists between transformational leadership and organisational innovation. The outcomes further found that organisational culture as a moderator has a positive and significant impact on the relationship between transformational leadership and organisational innovation. This study has contributed to literature by investigating the moderating role of organisational culture on the relationship between transformational leadership and organisational innovation. Recommendations to management teams within South African State-Owned Entities were made regarding how they could use the findings of this study to improve their organisations.
