| dc.description.abstract | M-Creations is an SMME located in a rural community in Dennilton, Mpumalanga and supplies about 10 local government schools with uniform and other tailoring services. Orders though large in number do not come in barges and this causes a large variation in orders to be filled and material to be stocked. Resulting in large amounts of inventory that goes to waste and adds to operating costs of the business. The aim of this project is to develop an inventory tool in the form of an MS excel model that will forecast orders based on historic data and ordering trends and output amounts of material to be bought and how much to keep in inventory to fulfil orders immediately. | en_US |
