Abstract
There is a need for the current transport systems and most commonly chosen modes of
transport to change. This of course includes mostly shifting towards public transport.
Implementing change in existing transport systems will result in the reduction of
congestion in towns and cities, an increase in parking spaces and a reduction in the
carbon footprint. The introduction of modern innovations like long-life pavements, clean
and fuel-efficient vehicles, eco-flying and alternative fuels will facilitate in meeting global
externalities.
