Description
Clinical history : A 83 year old male who has been a miner for 25 years and suffers with severe emphysema and left ventricular hypertrophy and irregular pulse.
A clinical diagnosis of pneumoconiosis with cor pulmonary.
Autopsy findings : 1. Pneumoconiosis.
2. Pavement cell carcinoma of the left upper bronchus.
3. Obstructive bronchiectasis with bronchopneumonia.
4. Cor pulmonary with haert failure.
5. Thrombosis of the peri-prostatic venous plexus.
Diagnosis: Thrombophlebitis of the periprostatic venous plexus
