dc.description.abstract | At the time of writing (24th August 2020), it has been over 5 months since the first case of COVID-19 was diagnosed in South Africa. Since then over 600,000 cases have been diagnosed in South Africa, of which over 13,000 have unfortunately resulted in death. The previous edition of the O+G Forum, three months ago (issue 2, 2020), included an editorial about South Africa’s initial response to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as an overview of management of obstetric patients with COVID-19. Since then the course of the pandemic has evolved and the scientific literature has been dominated by publications relating to various aspects of the pandemic and its management. | en_ZA |
