| dc.description.abstract | (1) The "bloedpens" strain of Cl. welchii, Type B (the "lamb dysentery bacillus") has been examined. Its toxin has been found to be serologically identical with that of Cl. welchii, Type B, as originally described by Dalling. (2) The main differences and similarities of the toxins of Cl. welchii, Type A (classical Cl. welchii), Type B, Type C (B. paludis) and Type D (B. ovitoxicus) have been confirmed. | en_ZA |
