Mr JA van Tilburg bequeathed his "prentenkabinet" of over 10 000 graphic works to the University of Pretoria
The artist Adrianus Miolee (1879-1961) was born in Vlissingen and worked in Haarlem. Rustenburg is the former estate of Anna Pawlona, wife to King William II of the Netherlands. In the 1920s all the buildings were demolished for a park.

Description

Dry needle etching of a small farmers house next to a long wooden fence, a stone wall is a remainder of the Rustenburg estate. Signed in pencil, monogram "AM" printed, "Eigendruk" inscribed, and titled on back.
