Autoliv Southern Africa (PTY) LTD is one of a group of world wide companies that produce safety systems for all types of automotives manufactured. Inventory problems have occurred since they have more stock than what is necessary. This puts unnecessary financial strain on the company. Customer demand is not always met in time. In order to address this problem material handling has to be minimised. A new system has to be introduced on the manufacturing floor in order to promote Autoliv’s level manufacturing.en_US
