Description

Clinical history : A 16 year old male patient diagnosed with peptic ulcer had gastric mucosal hyperplasia as seen on radiographic examination (Barium meal).
Zollinger- Ellison syndrome was diagnosed and angiography showed a tumour in the region of the head of the pancreas.
The tumour was removed and gastrectomy done; histology showed metastatic tumour in peripancreatic lymph node.
Diagnosis: Metastatic G-cell (gastrin secreting) tumour and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (primary island cell adenoma of pancreas)
