Description
Clinical history : A 54-year old man with long history of alcoholism was admitted into hospital after diagnosis of liver cirrhosis, portal hypertension and oesophageal varices was made.
Sclerotherapy was given for the varices but the patient died after massive gastro-intestinal haemorrhage occurred.
Autopsy findings : 1. Micronodular liver cirrhosis. 2. Oesophageal varices. 3. Ulceration in distal oesophagus.
Diagnosis: Micronodular cirrhosis
