Description
Clinical history : A 64 year old male with weight loss and night sweats and a mass in the abdomen.
A diagnosis of lymphoma was made with infiltration.
Autopsy findings : 1. Plasmacytoidal lymphoma of the stomach.
2. Lymphoma infiltration of the mediastum, mesenterial and para-aortic lymph nodes.
3. Candidosis of the oesophagus.
4. Bilateral acute fibrinous pleuritis with effusion.
Diagnosis: 1. Candidiasis of the oesophagus 2. plasmacytoid lymphoma of the stomach
