dc.description.abstract | In Botswana, a business incubator was established with the intention to develop and grow businesses as a way of fostering economic growth and job creation. The objective of this article was to determine if the coaching provided during incubation has an impact on the development of entrepreneurs, and if job creation resulted as a spin-off from the incubated firms. Qualitative research by means of interviews was conducted. The results showed that entrepreneurs are benefitting from the incubators and jobs were created in the process, but some fine tuning needs to be done. | en_ZA |
