Description
Clinical history : A 69 year old male who went into shock with heart failure and a diagnosis of coronary thrombosis.
Autopsy findings : 1. Area of recent infarction in the area of the apex of the left ventricle with an old myocardial scar on the posterior wall.
2. Pronounced atherosclerosis with recent thrombosis of the left coronary artery.
Diagnosis: Thrombosis of the left coronary artery with atherosclerosis as well as recent and old left ventricular infarction
