Dissertation (MSc)--University of Pretoria, 1948.
The area investigated is situated in the district of Rustenburg, about 55 miles due north of the town of Rustenburg. The area of approximately 150 square miles was mapped by plane table during the winter seasons of 1946 and 1947. Previous reports pertaining to the area were compiled by H. Kynaston and W.A. Humphrey (4) from 1907 to 1912. These reports, and the accompanying maps, greatly simplified the work.
